As Warehouse Supervisor you will have the opportunity to become part of a world-class team and manage the logistics of an innovative Duty-Free retail leader. The Warehouse Supervisor will be a self-motivated, high-energy person with exceptional organizational skills and strong desire to help the company achieve best-practice performance in workplace safety, warehouse and equipment management and operations. Perform functions to supervise and direct warehouse operations in a Bonded, Facility Union environment. Automated and fast pace, productivity driven with strict adherence to US Customs rules and a keen awareness for warehouse safety. Operation with weekend coverage rotation and significant seasonal overtime. Ability to supervise 15 plus employees in an operation to accommodate 3000+ shipments to the cruise ships yearly, utilizing multi layered warehouse management software and RF technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 5 Years supervisory experience in a bonded warehouse
Experienced with WMS systems and RF units
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in English and ideally, Spanish.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experienced with WMS systems and RF software and hardware
Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Access, Word and other Microsoft Office Products
Responsible for training personnel, reviewing and explaining work, and enforcing company rules and regulations.
Ability to plan effectively
Facilitate employee grievances according to union labor contract.
Maintain equipment, keep clean and orderly work areas and eliminate safety hazards.

Some flexibility in hours is permitted, employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Demands:
Office environment with frequent sitting, walking and standing, occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling use of office machinery. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Oral and auditory enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication automated devise such as the telephone.
