Under the direction of the Senior Buyer, the CPOR Associate Buyer (Pre-Owned Rolex – Swiss Crown) manages the day-to-day operations and execution of the CPOR business across the fleet, including assortment planning, inventory optimization, mail order management, training, and ship-level execution.
This position serves as the primary liaison between Swiss Crown, Starboard’s merchandising and planning teams, and onboard retail teams to ensure seamless execution, inventory productivity, and a best-in-class luxury experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Brand Training, Merchandising & Presentation
· Coordinate and execute CPOR training programs (onboard and virtual), ensuring strong product knowledge and storytelling. · Support training of onboard teams on luxury selling techniques, CPOR value and exclusivity, and pre-owned storytelling. · Ensure all training materials and market insights specific to the pre-owned category are current and maintained within Allego. · Conduct local ship visits to evaluate visual merchandising, assortment presentation, and team engagement. · Ensure CPOR presentation reflects luxury standards and maximizes visual impact. |
Support training of shipboard teams on mail order tools and digital catalog navigation to support adoption and conversion.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Brand Advocacy
· Serve as the CPOR Brand Champion, driving visibility and alignment across the organization. · Build strong partnerships with planning, operations, marketing, and onboard teams. · Manage shop capacity and presentation strategy, balancing inventory depth with visual impact. · Represent CPOR in internal forums with a focus on ownership, accountability, and solution-driven thinking. |
Oversee SPIFF calendar management, ensuring vendor agreements are current and executed on time.

Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3-6 years equivalent work experience.
Travel Requirements –
10-25% travel required
This position will be based in the Doral Starboard HQ 4 days a week with Wednesday remote.

Some flexibility in hours is permitted, employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Demands:
Office environment with frequent sitting, walking and standing, occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling use of office machinery. This position requires the ability to
occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Oral and auditory enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication automated devise such as the telephone.
