Under the direction of the Starboard Liquor Buyer, the Liquor Assistant Buyer manages the Cruises Lines Diageo liquor brands activations and visual merchandising operations. Ensuring execution of proper strategic merchandising standards to ensure consistent and highly qualitative execution of the brands visual strategy in coordination with the Diageo marketing team.

The Executive Assistant to Marketing, Cruise Line Retail, and the Luxury Division provides proactive and energetic daily support to the teams by independently handling crucial administrative tasks to contribute to the overall successful day to day operations of the office. This position under the direction of the Buyer, the Assistant Buyer is responsible for developing their merchant skills by managing the vendor relationship, strategy, oversight and performance of a small portfolio of programs within a category of business. They will work to develop solid relationships with their vendor, cruise line and internal partners to drive results and solve problems. They will work to meet or exceed financial targets for area of responsibility through consistent analysis of business performance, category trends, and data-based insights.

The Customer Service Guest Services Specialist provides customers with high quality multi-channel support and problem resolution in a manner that meets or exceeds defined department objectives and enhances the overall customer experience. This individual responds to guest complaints and inquiries in an expedient manner and with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism; strives for one contact resolution; and delivers high-touch customer service in a contact center environment.  The individual in this role will develop a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and Fine Jewelry product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.  Additionally, the Guest Services Specialist initiates the escalation process for unresolved customer cases or issues.

The Merchant Assistant is responsible for the total Merchandise operation in the office. This position supports all daily operations within the department which will ultimately affect company sales, gross margin, and weeks of supply objectives. The Merchant Assistant will work with vendors in developing solid relationships to effectively resolve various issues and will communicate with onboard personnel regarding merchant related requests.

Responsible for the accuracy, integrity and timely processing of invoices including expenses and merchandising by the accounts payable team.  Resolves merchandise and expense vendor issues and makes certain that inventory information is successfully interfaced and recorded from the inventory sub-ledger to the general ledger. Overseeing the efficient operations of the Inventory Control Department, timely and accurate submission of Physical and Cycle Count Inventories, Aged Inventory reporting and forecasting as well as timely and accurate reconciliation of Consignment vendor reconciliations. Managing the GL accounts for both Inventory and AP balances.
