The Merchant Coordinator is responsible for the total Merchandise operation in the office. This position supports all daily operations within the department which will ultimately affect company sales, gross margin, and weeks of supply objectives. The Merchant Assistant will work with vendors in developing solid relationships to effectively resolve various issues and will communicate with onboard personnel regarding merchant related requests.

This position under the direction of the Buyer, the Assistant Buyer is responsible for developing their merchant skills by managing the vendor relationship, strategy, oversight and performance of a small portfolio of programs within a category of business. They will work to develop solid relationships with their vendor, cruise line and internal partners to drive results and solve problems. They will work to meet or exceed financial targets for area of responsibility through consistent analysis of business performance, category trends, and data-based insights.

Responsible for the financial forecasting, purchasing, and overall inventory management across a global supply chain for a subcategory or group of programs pertinent to the Planning Manager’s scope of business. The Systems Administrator will provide technical leadership to team members, manage small technical projects, monitor help desk service levels and resolve issue escalations from Help Desk staff.  The Systems Administrator will also manage/monitor the Servers, Virtual Machines, Storage & Backup infrastructure and work closely with the Enterprise Services Manager to propose and implement new solutions to enable the business.
